One of the most thrilling parts of the Apollo space program in the 1960s and 70s was the first time that humans orbited the moon. This occurred on Christmas Eve of 1968. The astronauts of Apollo 8 (Frank Borman, James Lovell, William Anders) did a beautiful reading that can be hear in this clip. A great memory and a good reminder as we celebrate Christmas and a New Year at the end of 2015.
